The Medford Humanitarian Pear Orchard is located on Foothill Rd. in the Rogue Valley. It is a gathering place where the community can experience remarkable unity as they serve one another. Many boxes of fresh pears from the orchard are given to local food banks, while a large portion of pears are canned and added to humanitarian aid packages sent all around the world. The harvest, which takes place at the end of July and first part of August, is open to all (age 11 and up) who wish to participate in this great effort.
